Very well written and it makes a lot of sense. This technology when perfected will help so many people, in many different circumstances, live in a much safer and protective environment. It will provide intelligent monitoring of loved ones, not only extending and improving their daily needs in a more enjoyable protective environment, but will also provide much needed reassurance to loved ones and caretakers unable to be in the presence of the individual. Those loved ones and caretakers will have the ability to engage and modify the interactions with the individual to meet the individual’s needs in a timely manner. The quality of life of all involved will be considerably enhanced. So thank you very much for your work in this vitally important area, and I hope it can be broadly implemented in the very near future.
Thank you so much, John, for this thoughtful, encouraging validation! You hit on exactly why we’re doing this work: it’s not just about the AI/tech, it’s about creating a voice-first agent that’s capable of ‘intelligent monitoring' on behalf of remote caretakers while simultaneously engaging with and increasing the independence of their aging loved ones. Truly appreciate you being part of the community, particularly given your vast experience as a highly respected physician!
